Bong beauty Rani Mukerji, who was hospitalized because of fatigue, has a reason to rejoice and feel rejuvenated.

According to a report in TOI, Rani who is is expecting her baby in January next year, has a baby shower planned for her.

Though the dates of the baby shower haven't been fixed upon yet but it is speculated that the function, since will be in a Yash Raj house, this one definitely shall be grand just like their movies. 

The baby would be the first child of Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra after their extremely secretive and low key marriage last year on 21st April in Italy.

Last week, actress Rani Mukerji, who is pregnant with her first child with husband-filmmaker Aditya Chopra, was found glowing at the Bachchan’s Diwali bash where she had reunited with her old friend and fellow actress, Preity Zinta. Rani, apparently, attended few other Diwali parties with the who's who of the industry.

However, seems like the revelries left her exhausted. Apparently, the Diwali celebrations took a tool on the heavily pregnant Rani, leaving her weary so much so that she needed medical intervention and was admitted to a hospital over the weekend (November 14/15). Sources close to Rani said, “She was advised rest under medical supervision. On Monday morning, she was discharged but she has chosen to rest it out in the hospital for a few more days as the baby's room at their Juhu residence is being done up and her doctors didn't think the actress should be exposed to all the dust, dirt and noise in her delicate condition.” 

However, the sources dismissed the reports saying that Rani and Aditya would want to have their baby's birth in a foreign land and that the actress plans to head for a long maternity leave for an unknown destination during the child's birth. It is believed that Rani has been consulting a doctor in Mumbai and the Chopras' have chosen a hospital in South Mumbai as the location for the birth of their scion. The couple tied the knot on April 21, 2014, in a private ceremony in Italy.

If sources close to Rani are to be believed, the actress, who is expecting her first child, is heavily into fruit diet, and her fruit platter usually consists of whole lot of fruits such as pineapple, water melon, musk melon...

The source also said that Rani is continuing to avoid sweets like she usually does. "She has always had baby fat problem so she is off sweets and then she may want to keep her acting career going post baby. Besides her pregnancy, she otherwise looked quite slim when she was recently seen at Bachchan's Diwali bash," said the source.

It may be recalled that the Chopra bahu was recently hospitalised because the Diwali revelry had left her exhausted.

So to all the Rani-Abhishek fans, who had felt that all was well between them, here is not so great news! Rani's dear friend, Preity Zinta had posted a picture with the pregnant Rani on the same day when the Bachchan's threw their much talked about lavish Diwali bash.  

According to a report in DNA, it was revealed that the Piya Piya girls who were clicked in one frame which was speculated to be snapped at the Bachchan's Diwali party was not then clicked there but was actually clicked at the Chopra's Diwali bash at their own residence.

Post the bash, Rani was advised complete bed rest because of over-exertion and has been on a fruit diet since. Rani and Aditya Chopra are expecting their first baby together in January next year.

Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji, who have just become proud parents of baby girl Adira Chopra, are very excited about their new bundle of joy. The two B-town celebs, who had a very long courtship and a fairy-tale destination wedding in Italy, are planning a special welcome for Adira. 

Dad Aditya is apparently planning a 'Mahapooja' for the little baby. It's a family custom to calm down the planets. We have heard from our sources that the family is busy with the preparations for the pooja, which will be conducted on Adira's 6th day after birth.

Rani and Aditya Chopra are planning a mahapooja for Adira on her 6th day. News is that preparations are in full flow for this pooja, which is performed to seek blessings for the baby.

Actor Aamir Khan, a close friend of his "Ghulam" co-star Rani Mukerji, celebrated the arrival of her daughter Adira's arrival by distributing sweets among the crew of his new film "Dangal".

 

Aamir's spokesperson said the actor was thrilled on learning about Adira, and he immediately got into celebration mode and also treated the crew with sweets.
